What's Black and Red and Pale All Over?

My name is Carli and I am addicted to dresses with huge front pockets.
But I am not seeking for help with this problem.

BOO!

Our Week

The girls got SHOES cupcakes brought as a present for them.  Miss 4 was FLABBERGASTED!

Our sunset one night last week

I attempted a 4 layer polka dot cake!

I took a class with USA glass artist Holly Cooper, who flew all the way over to Australia to teach us a few new tricks.  She made the beads above.  Aren't they exquisite?

What the kids think of antique browsing that takes any longer than 2 hours.

Shoes Day! Irregular Choice Mhari

I purchased these bejewelled lovelies during Irregular Choice's end of season sale as a thrown in with another pair.  I thought that being black they would match most things.  Turns out they don't match most things because of all the rhinestones conflicting with my outfits!!

They are pretty tho aren't they?  Notice that the design is of a peacock?

You all must excuse the CRAP in the background of these photos.  We were packing up a garage sale and Miss 11 forgot to tell me that you could see the remnants in the background.  (BTW, garage sales are FAB and an easy way to earn some dosh!  Go clean out your garages!)  One day I promise I will become a 'proper' photographer.

Don't Worry Be Happy

It's another corny Neon!  Just cause I could!  China Glaze's Sunkissed over a coat of white for extra POP.  Stamped with Warm Black Konad and Cheeky plates.

You won't really see long nails from me for awhile cause they have all freaking snapped OFF.

Just Cause I Could

Neon bursts of color from the Color Club Neon collection, just cause I was in the mood.  Stamped with Cheeky plates and Konad Warm Black.  Pics are day 2 (sorry for the tip wear).

Copper Hair Inspiration

I know I said I was going red a couple of weeks ago but I kind of chickened out at the last minute....and the hairdresser hadn't ordered in the exact color I wanted so I opted not to go for anything at the time, rather than settle for something that was second choice.  I am glad I waited as it made me second guess my choice of color and I realised I wasn't really an Ariel kind of Lady but the Copper shades actually attracted me more.

But next Thursday is the day I am taking the plunge.  Bleaching my WHOLE head of hair to get rid of the Black and going for a Copper.  These pictures are the look I am hoping is what will happen to my beloved locks next week:

How could I leave the divine Ms Hendricks out of the list?

I'm also thinking of a change of hairstyle too.  Considering I have had one change of hairstyle in 20 years......it probably won't happen but I like to think I'm that brave!

I'm soooooooooo nervous!!  Wish me luck!
