Pretty Serious CGA & Forbidden Fruit Eyeshadows

As soon as Kaz opened shop, I placed an order pronto. She had already wowed me with her BSOD, VT100 and Tux polishes and I wanted the matching cosmetics. Once on there I changed my mind twenty times before choosing CGA and Forbidden Fruit eyeshadows.

This was my Pretty package! The packaging is gorgeous. Seriously, just buy it for the boxes it comes in!

CGA is a color shift pink and purple, packed with shimmer and has an amazing turquoise sparkle. Yes they are crappy swatch pics, I am a polish girl!  Top was applied wet, bottom was applied dry.

Forbidden Fruit is a super bright white that is insanely sparkly. I know most people would use this as a highlight, but I went the whole hog over the eyelid and did the crazy 70's babe thing. This was applied dry over an eye primer.

And here are some more sub standard makeup shots of me wearing CGA on the left eyelid and FB on the right. I am also wearing TUX lipgloss. It was the end of a long day...don't judge.

These pots are HUGE. They contain a full 5 grams of product which is a lot.   Unless you wear the same color every single day and touch it up in the afternoon, these post will probably last you forever.  The jars are also fitted with a sifter so your product doesn't end up all over the floor....like mine usually does.

They each retail at $9.95 and can be purchased from Pretty Serious Cosmetics.

Pretty Serious TUX Polish & Lipgloss

Getting sick of Pretty Serious yet? Nope, didn't think so.

This is 2 coats of TUX, an inky blackened teal with the subtlest purple duochrome. And it is subtle, I tried 40 times to coax it out into photos but it wouldn't play nice.  Pictures are also after 2 days of wear.

I also purchased the matching lipgloss which is my very first lipgloss purchase. I am a matte lipstick girl ALL the way but thought this might be Fab over my dark grape MAC lippies.

It smells like grape, has a wicked sparkle and yet is super pale so it could be worn over any color. This was a thin coat over my lips, don't look at the hairs, and the sparkle was there in real life.

I'm kicking myself I didn't get the matching eyeshadow as well.

More Pretty Serious eyeshadows tomorrow.........

Pretty Serious BSOD

As promised, I am back with more Pretty Serious Fabulousness!

This one has ended up my favourite, even tho I expected VT100 to take that honor. As soon as I opened the cap I was in lust with this gorgeous vivid blue jelly packed with glitter.

This is 2 coats of BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death).  Please also check out Stef's photos of BSOD here as she pretty much 'nailed' it.

Something else that's Pretty Fabulous? (KAZ!  Did I think up another new name for you?  Pretty Fabulous??!) Kaz also made matching eyeshadow and lipgloss for this color!

Have you guys made a Pretty Seious order yet?  What did you buy?

Pretty Serious VT100

Unless you have been living under a rock, you will all know that Kaz from Pretty-Random fame has released her own line of cosmetics very aptly named Pretty Serious. She has just released her first collection called 'Hello World' and I have a few of her polishes and cosmetics to show over the next few days.

Today I have VT100 which is an Emerald green filled with golden micro glitter. The above pictures are taken under artifical light.

And these photos are taken in natural sunlight. This was 2 coats of VT100. My base coat is very gritty and makes a one coat of anything impossible as it comes thru bumpy. If I used a smooth base coat, this would have been good to go after one coat.

All Pretty Serious products including the nail polishes are vegan. They are also Big 3 free, and formaldehyde resin free. Kaz also ships worldwide and nothing will ever be SOLD OUT! Yay!

Pretty Serious can be found online here
and on Facebook here.

Back tomorrow with more Serious goodness.
